The Bomcafé Charity Foundation (BCF) is a private corporate initiative intended to provide opportunities for Bomcafé Australia Limited to make a meaningful contribution to the unprecedented and broader social and sustainability challenges facing our generation.
We are a charitable foundation fully funded by Bomcafé and independent global partners and aim to be the primary vehicle for the company to deliver on its comprehensive global community investment strategy.
We aim to lead responsibly to help address challenges that are bigger than any one company’s interests, thus, we’re dedicated to adding value to people’s lives across communities by facilitating good nutrition, health, education and empowerment initiatives to help lift people out of poverty.
Our purpose “Caring for the better, together” reflects our values and drives us to raise our ambitions and deliver our promises to impact people and the planet for the better.

We partner with approved charities and community bodies in which we have an involvement. Our global programs aim create a unified community with a common focus – to use our collective knowledge, skill and passion to enrich the lives of our people and the community.
Our global community investment strategy is structured around four strategic pillars:
Protect the environment
Empower People
Community Impact
Sustainable Value Creation

Protect The Environment
We aim to work to drive environmental efficiency in our operations, cutting emissions and enhancing the circularity of our products and packaging.
We are committed to understanding, managing, and minimising our environmental impact across our value chain, including our business operations, partners, suppliers and customers. We’ll be guided by our Environmental Management System (EMS) and the company’s Environment Framework and Policy to achieve ‘The Smallest Footprint’ on the environment. This approach will also reflect our support towards the precautionary principle of the ‘United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Rio Declaration on Environment’ 1992.
Empower People

Aligned with our company’s purpose, Bomcafé Foundation is committed to driving sustainable change by empowering communities through equity and inclusion as well as access to good nutrition, and targeted education to provide equal opportunities and access for all. So that no one is left behind.
Education, nutrition, and social support are at the core of our community impact strategy as we recognise that access to professional training, capability and competence, can make a positive and lasting impact. In addition, Bomcafé Foundation is committed to directly reaching one million households with community-based management of acute malnutrition, which provides access to improved water and sanitation, improved behavioural change, livelihood support, strengthening locals and the national health systems as well as global advocacy by 2030.
